Re: Houston Coming after Dunleavy, Bulls unwilling to move h
The Rockets can come after MDJ all they want, but unless they give up anything of significance, what's the point of making a deal just to make a deal.
Morey has either stiffed us, or tried to stiff us previously, so it's not like they are ideal trade partners either way, so I say pass.

Why so serious?

Re: Houston Coming after Dunleavy, Bulls unwilling to move h
The sticking point to Houston and Chicago is Houston is only offering the Knicks 2nd round pick and the Bulls wants Houston 2014 1st round pick instead which I agree with. The players we'd get back are really just fillers though I'd assume one certain wing guy Thibs would play...
The Bulls know Mike can be dealt going forward if need be so why make a bad trade now. The Bulls want a 1st round pick for Mike and unless they get one he should not be traded.
Edit: The guys we'd be getting back make about 1 mil less than Dunleavy this season and the big might be able to beat out Nazr for his spot. Still the key is the 1st round pick.

I'm pretty sure that 2nd rounder from the Knicks is protected 31-55. If we trade for that..I don't even know. I won't even finish that sentence because we'd never do it.
I agree with you; 1st-rounder or bust in regards to Dunleavy to Houston.
EDIT: Nevermind, that protection is on a 2nd rounder from Philly. Still though, I'm holding out for a 1st.

It might be the Bulls are messing with Morey to gauge MDJ's value for a potential Carmelo trade in summer. It will be interesting to see a back-court of MDJ and Harden...Dwight might quit basketball.

So Dunleavy for Brewer, Motiejunas, and a 1st?
Sounds great, I hope the Bulls can pull it off.

No they don't.
I tend to agree with this but not for any lack of offense. I suppose they think they could use the help of another shooter but unless they learn to defend I don't see them getting past OKC, Spurs or Clippers. And honestly, a lot of that is on Harden to man up and act like he gives a s*** on defense.

Give me Donatas Motiejunas, Omri Casspi and a 1st, and I will drive Dunleavy to Houston, not the airport, put all the way to Houston.

I doubt anything that points to the Bulls willing to move Dunleavy, and downgrading talent, even if a late 1st round pick is included. The Bulls are not writing off the season, so they would need real players back, and no one here has any clue what any offers look like.

The Rockets are not offering a 1st so how does anyone expect them to offer those two guys... The deal is far worse

If the Bulls get a 1st round pick they will certainly deal Mike. The question is from now and 3pm Thursday does such a team come through with one.

I don't understand why some people are eager to get rid of Dunleavy. He is on a good deal and provides us with much-needed shooting.

Re: Houston Coming after Dunleavy, Bulls unwilling to move h
My guess for what is on the table is probably Brewer, Greg Smith, and a 2nd for Dunleavy. Total white dog **** trade, which is why it won't happen. With a first though, it's another pick and some expirings.

I would love to answer the phone from Morey just once so I could tell him to F**K off.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes
