I agree, although Clint had a good point, depending on Noah's prognosis health-wise (which I have no clue), then I would certainly do a Noah only trade but given what we know, I wouldn't. And definitely not adding Butler.

I wouldn't trade Noah. He's a top 3 DPOY candidate and the heart and soul of this team. Butler is a top 8 SG and could probably be a top 5 SG if he improves his offensive game.

Noah's constant injury issues have made me want to include him in the deal more. This is the first time I think we have been serious about bringing in a second option.

I wouldn't trade Noah and Butler oh hell no I wouldn't even trade Noah for LMA. Now if we have Asik then that is a different story but we don't.

I hope we get LMA without giving up LMA I don't get my hopes up though

I for one have not heard Jimmy's name, but it will take Noah to land him. I've heard Jo and the Bobcats pick is what they were asking for.

I think the Bulls would deal Noah, but only if they can line up a C. I think that's what they are seeing now, if they can get a C to replace JO

Seriously? They're seriously going to be ok with dealing Noah?

To hear that actually breaks my heart a little. Noah is perhaps my favorite player in the whole league.

Lol, K.C. is straight misleading people.

He was using the Butler/Noah deal as a theoretical deal that he thinks Portland would ask for. Then he asked his Bulls source whether that's something the Bulls would do, and of course they said no.

It doesn't mean that's what Portland is asking for.

5 Days Ago:
http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2013 ... al-manager
At issue is the Trail Blazers want a center — at least — in return, and the Bulls won't part with Joakim Noah. In this hypothetical, because no terms have been discussed, the Trail Blazers also likely would ask for Jimmy Butler and/or the Bulls' first-round pick from Charlotte, which could be fully unprotected in 2016.

Today
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/ba ... 8253.story
Sources said the Bulls have been unwilling to discuss a deal of Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler for Aldridge.

He's acting as if Portland asked for that and the Bulls in turn, were "unwilling" to discuss it.

Thats the exact offer I thought they would want for LMA.

Ill do Noah for Aldridge, then going into next year you can find a center to put next to him.

The biggest part of the trade is that you get that 2nd option that derrick needs

If they got a replacement C yes, but that's the problem IMO, I don't see us getting one. The Bulls don't want to deal him, but they know to get LMA that is what Portland wants. So they are seeing if they can get a C if they deal Jo.

In the end I see someone like Dallas or Houston getting LMA

We have no choice he is our best asset. He would probably re-sign in the future anyway

Noah + Butler is a joke.

But I do think Noah is a starting point for any LMA trade, Portland doesn't even listen unless he's involved, similar to when we talked to Denver & Melo.

Also we're number 1 on his list, but Dallas, Houston and LAL are on his list too.

I think it's crap that we can't find a center for Deng.

What if we did that Deng for Eric Gordon deal, but also got Robin Lopez out of it? Would Lopez, Taj, and the CHA pick be any good?

EDIT: Don't forget the Pelicans just signed Tyreke, and would probably be down to turn Gordon into Deng to set up Holliday/Evans/Deng/Davis/Somebody. They've also been looking to trade Lopez.

Yeah and it's fair. I think the reason we'd have to add a little is because of Jo's injuries problem

I wouldn't be surprised if we made a bigger trade this offseason. Gar may need to do something to get the attention off his relationship with Thibs.

I think he's everyone's favorite player but at the same time, his value is really high right now too. What if he gets hurt again next year? Its been 4 years in a row an he's only getting older. Its easier to find a defensive big that can do similair things to Noah than it is to find guys like LMA in the open market. I'd trade Noah, he just can't get you that bucket in the postseason that we need. I'd hate doing it, but I'd trade him.

Is Noah a all star every year type player? I'd say no imo, get a deal done
