They're actually going to trot out a lineup of
PG: Lebron
SG: Wade
SF: Miller
PF: Bosh
C: Min Salary guy
that would be sick

Re: Mike Miller off the market?
Not exactly the best newspaper (DWAYNE Wade and Chris BOSCH), so I'd eye it with a bit of skepticism, especially since the big 3 haven't agreed to specific contracts.

This just pisses me off so much. Words cannot express how much I want to explode right now. We are going to be left with absolutely no one to fill the SG role that's relevant.

They had enough room for three max contracts, and they all probably accepted like $1.5M less starting out, giving the Heat enough money to make another FA slash in Miller.

Bosch?
I'm not understanding how they afford Mike Miller? Did LeBron sign a 5yr/$50.00 contract?

No, they traded Beasley, and used the money that saved to add Miller. Assuming the 3 amigos didn't take huge haircuts on their deals, they are done with anything more than veteran minimum signings.

Re: Mike Miller off the market?
Is this because the wolves choked down Beasley while giving the Heat a Number one and capspace?
Damn, this episode has been caused by stupid GM's helping create superteams. First it was Memphis, then it was Toronto, Now you can add Minnesota.
I guess we just hope that our GM can find another stupid GM to help complete our team....or is our Gm the next stupid moover?
As for not getting Miller, I'm not heartbroken, cause I don't think he was the difference maker for us, but going to Miami is a heartbreaker. For them, he's a quality move. He's a quality 6th man and scorer for when Wade or LeBron is getting a breather.
Wow, this team is gonna be have to play 6 on 8 every night. I guess if any team could, it's probably them.

Re: Mike Miller off the market?
I think this proves this has been in the making for a while. Miller turned down the Lakers and I think it was pretty obvious to all that he was going to sign wherever LeBron ended up.
However, the fact that Miami seemed to be courting him closest in the last few days, and the short amount of time in which he agreed, tells me this was all sort of worked out in advance. Maybe not far in advance, but definitely in advance.
This whole thing .. it was all a spectacle for the documentaries, the Decision special, and I'm sure the training camp -- season -- playoff/title run documentary DVD that will be in the works.

Did I miss something? Aren't Morrow, Reddick, Brewer, Childress, and Korver still out there?

Re: Mike Miller off the market?
BTW, have they announced what the terms are of the big three's contracts? Haven't seen anything written so I'm assuming it's not determined yet.

Do you want to lock any of them up for 5/$35M at this point?

By who? That thread was locked because it hasn't been reported anywhere other than in a Gen Board posters mind.

I'd be willing to go out on a limb and suggest that of that list, at least one will get neither the money nor the years you just wrote.
