Any Chicago Bulls ticket holders in the house.

Post#1 » by jc23 » Mon May 31, 2010 7:39 pm

I recently got a pair for the upcoming season (sec.105, row14) and wondered if i could get some advice/experiences from all of you. I will try to make at least 10 or so games but wonder how difficult it is to sell the remaining seats. I'm not looking to get rich so i will more than likely sell at face value. Anyone here use these sites to sell and what was your experience?
-Ticketexchange
-ticketmaster
-stubhub
-craigslist

I also read that they give you a tour the locker room at some point, anyone do that?

I wish I had money to become a season ticket holder. I'm just a poor college kid... :-?

I did get to go to the Bulls game 3 vs. the Cavs in a Luxury Box.. that was pretty awesome!!!

If the Bulls get LeBron or Bosh or something that makes them exciting, then you will probably be able to sell your tickets.

Otherwise, good luck getting anywhere near face value.

I'd start trying to sell as many games in advance as you can, the closer it gets to game date the harder it is to sell them.

I may be interested in some tickets... not sure when though, it would depend on what your selling them for as well.

I will take that under advisement doug. I will probably start by asking family and friends. Actually one the reasons i pulled the trigger on'em is because i read a article on how the UC is near the top of the league in ticket sales. But, i have a filling now that maybe that is because many long time bulls season ticket holders buy but just dont show up.

well like i said, i will try to sell for face value $110. From what i understand the single game tickets are sold for $130. But, except for the "big draw" games i guess it looks like i will have to lower that number.
Here is a pic of were the seats r. LOOK FOR THE WHITE BOX WITH AN X :o

I sold both of my Cleveland tickets, Blazer tickets, and some other game I'm forgetting on ClickTix.

You should have no problem getting rid of tickets. My buddy who sits next to me has four seats and he never lost money at all this year. He came to maybe 10-12 games and sold the rest.

That being said, I'm in the cheap seats. My tickets are $40 bucks as opposed to $110 for you so... that may be a little tougher.

I say go through ClickTix. They take 10% of every sale. On one game I made a whole dollar profit, on another game I made $100.00. It all depends on what game it is and what day of the week it is.

If you sell tickets, they give you the option to have the money put back on your credit card or have it roll over into next years tickets. They really push hard for you to come back next year.

You will get first crack at playoff tickets which is nice. I bought lower level seats for game 4 this year and sold my regular seats. In March they will send you an invoice to pay for playoff tickets. You can buy just the first two rounds or all the tickets up until the Finals.

The Bulls also send you giveaways throughout the year. All of the stuff that you miss by getting to the games late they send to your house. T shirts, playing cards, hats, water bottles, etc. They also send gifts from time to time. They just sent me a Joakim Noah jersey.

I did the locker room tour in 07 when Ben Wallace was here. It was OK. Nothing too spectacular. They give you the history of the U.C., take you on the court, the broadcast area, and in both locker rooms.

That was very informative sherronshabazz, thanks. I'm alittle curious why clicktix is favored by you over the other sites. Is it the same as ticketexchange? I ask because the bulls sales rep advised me to use it because it is free for ticket holders. But thanks again for your input. :D

i've never used the other sites. it is just less work. i'm lazy lol. yeah it's the same thing as ticket exchange.

it's free, but they take 10% of the sale. they will tell you what tickets in your area are selling for on the site. you can list your tickets for whatever your want within reason though.

any other questions, ask away.

That doesn't look like a picture from Section 105.

So the seats are somewhere in the middle of that vast section of United Center, not the vantage point from where the picture was taken?

That is really not servicey.

That seems to be the case, which is why I was so confused.

Like you said, what's the point?

I'm not tryin to sell tickets here guys, I was just lookin 4 sum info on what to expect come october. And as far as the pic goes, I found it online and thought it would give an idea exactly where the seats are located. I am a 1st time season ticket holder and have yet to sit in the seats to take a vantage point picture yet.

I guess we're both old, because I didn't see the X before.

Now at least the picture makes sense.
