Chicago Bulls Autographs

Post#1 » by JDRochholz » Thu Oct 7, 2010 2:32 am

Who here has an autograph(s) from Bulls players, past or present? I have issue #1 of Beckett magazine (with MJ on the cover) signed by MJ himself (my most prized possession). That's the only one I have though.....

Hersey Hawkins once randomly showed up in a shopping centre here in Sydney (he was a Sixer at the time) and he signed my ball for me.

I still have the ball, anyone want to buy it? hahahaha

I actually collect Derrick Rose's cards, and also have some nice MJ, Pippen, and Rodman items as well.

Here are some of my favorites:

These MJ, Rodman, and Pippens are each from the same set:

Now some Rose's :D

Derrick's Best Rookie Card:

These are not autographs but they are the Logoman patches off the game used Bulls jersey's (numbered 1 of 1):

One of Derrick's best cards ever made:

One of Noah's Best Cards:

Some more MJ's:

Last but not least. I just got this item back from Hobby Lobby where it was being framed and matted:

Right. Its just like the cards that most people collected as kids but now they include memorabilia pieces on them, and autographs. See how the first Jordan is 005/100 on the left side? That means there are 100 of that particular card made of MJ. Each one has a different Bulls patch on it.

I actually have a D.Rose autograph that I got in high school on one of those School Sports or Rise magazines (can't remember which at the moment). He was on the cover, and my brother was friends with his girlfriend so he got it signed way before he was the #1 pick.

Does somebody have Robert (Chip) Schaefer's autograph for selling or trading?
He was the athletic coach of Bulls and Lakers under the head coach Phil Jackson

Thanks

I'd love to collect some more autographed Bulls stuff. At the moment I have a basketball signed by Jordan and Dr J. I also have a card signed by one of the Harlem Globetrotters when there were in town years ago, some hockey stuff and some football stuff.

I've got a Jordan jersey signed by Mike back when I worked at one of his basketball camps in the late '90s. I've also got probably 4 or 5 of those autographix cards that came out when I collected basketball cards. I think I have Steve Kerr, Scott Williams, Toni Kukoc, and Bill Wennington. Maybe Scott Burrell too. Haven't dug them out in years. I think Scott Williams is actually wearing a Sixers jersey on his.

I always meant to track down autos of Grant, Pippen and Rodman... but collecting those sorts of things became less important as time passed. I would still like to have a basement bar (or den) someday where I can hang my framed jersey. That one is nice since I did get it in person.

I bought this yesterday for $800.

I spent a long time researching which Jordan auto I wanted. I love the iconic photo on this card and Chronology is one of my all-time favourite sets.
