I'd say Webster is more athletic than (got it right?) Mayo and a better defender, but those are up for debate. mayo is a bit small and just not strong and athletic enough for 2 spot. He can work in many situations, but who will guard strong, scoring guards like Kobe?

Well not Webster. He's athletic, but still not quick enough to guard shooting guards full time. He's very similar to John Salmons in that way. Good overall scorer and can on occasion swing from the three to the two, but not full time.

I think we should either play JJ a bit more to see where he really is, start Ronnie Brewer, or should be happy to make a move for Martell Webster.

It seems that the FO don't want to make a move that "would mortgage their future", so it should be either Francisco Garcia or Martell Webster, since they both have 3 year contracts similar to our FA signings. Do either move make us a serious contender? maybe?????
