Around the NBA VIII: Shortened Season Edition

I dislike the Heat for being entitled, spoiled, punks who happen to be better than us.

I dislike Knicks fans for being delusional crazies, and the NY media for helping make them that way.

I would say that I would hope that they could somehow BOTH lose, but.....


....I care most about putting up banner #7, but I still have a bad taste left in my mouth from LeBron destroying us last May. I was so upset that I avoided any sports talk for awhile after they marched off the court. Didn't watch TV at all.
If they happen to fall before they meet us, then they're not a worthy enough opponent this season. Methinks that them on their best day would give us the most worthy opponent we could ask for though, too revenge, and that's who I want in the ECF. I don't want any questions left unanswered. I want the world to know, this June, that we have a better basketball team than anyone else. And if we can't beat the Miami Heat as constructed, I want the Bulls decision makers to know that something else must be done if we want to get over the top.

I see no way the Heat lose to the Knicks. But if they lose in the first round, and we end up winning the championship, I don't think anyone will think it was cheapened at all. If a team loses in the first round, then they're not worth even bringing up when it comes to talking about the champions. No one mentions the 09 or 10 Cavs when they talk about the Lakers' titles, despite the fact that the Cavs had the best record in the NBA both of those years.
