I agree about SVG I think he's a very good coach. I hope management sides with him and trades Dwight. Orlando won't get a better coach if they keep Dwight.

I don't think Dwight's intangibles fit here at all.

He wouldn't fit our culture. He's the exact opposite, he blames everyone else, throws his team mates under the bus, lies about what is really going on, is driven by ego rather than winning, complains about SVG yelling too much, etc.etc.
You should be thanking me every morning when you wake up, along with Jesus, for giving you another day!

awww poor baby dwight. he has it so rough. they are just so mean to him in orlando. boo hoo hoo. he's been abused for too long. that bully stan van gundy.

dwight should actually try and develop some offensive moves other than his running baby hook he always does right handed. he can't shoot from 10 ft. he can't shoot foul shots. he has no other post moves. but hey, he's really athletic and loves the camera and loves to be called superman. sounds like i just described a gay porn star.

To be fair, he did work on his offense with "The Dream" in the 2010 offseason. There are videos on youtube.

I think he mainly needs an MVP teammate like Kobe or Lebron to get the best out of his career. He seems stupid, so usually a guy like that needs a few big shoulders to lean on to make the right choices.

You know, Shaq is very lucky to have had Phil Jackson and Kobe, and those feuds. IMO, those "feuds" and drama are what spurred him to play hard and try harder. Because he is and was a lazy, unintelligent, arrogant fool. But get him riled him and he'll try to prove you wrong.

So anyway, Dwight's a southern boy from a small town. Loves the camera, clearly not that intelligent... athletically insane, but he needs a tough player to help carry the weight and motivation. Then, the coach he needs... he needs more of a father figure. SVG is more of a white-collar professional, I just don't think he can relate to Dwight. Phil Jackson would be a good fit, because he played in the NBA, knew how to use his length, coached the HOF greats, came from a small town, went through a radical change/hippie phase.

Honestly, if I'm Orlando... I'd continue to try to keep Dwight. The fact that he played like garbage was related to a lot of things, but it's on the organization to use him correctly. They truly did a #*** job building around Howard. God awful. Instead of desperately getting overpaid duds and has-beens, they should've even tanked to add a talent to Howard. Hey, it's what Riley did with Wade, and it worked.

I mean, when things couldn't get worse... they add Glen Davis for $28/4? Really? Good god.

suddenly Dwight Howard can ride into town on a white horse in a partial savior role. Which is what he wants. Its still Rose's team, but Dwight can get the ego boost of holding things down and receiving full credit while Rose recovers. Then its a full partnership.

Guess Howard can get his wish in Chicago now (unless he really hates the cold)
