I hope it's an evening game. The first game should be Magic/Pacers. No one gives a crap about that series.

I'd love to see it at 8pm. Would just build up the anticipation all day!

It's either 330 or 8. There's no chance Indiana/Orlando gets primetime spots like 8, or marquee times like 3:30 on a weekend, over Bulls/Sixers or Knicks. ZERO.

Personally, its clear everything is being held up by the knicks. If they win, they get a quick turnaround, as they will be the Saturday afternoon game against the heat. Drop to the 8 seed and they get the bulls at 8.
Derrick Rose could have avoided all the drama with his front office:

a) By accepting a shorter deal with

b) An opt out clause.

He didn't do that.

Just for the Conference Finals I'm pretty sure.

Actually that should be the 5:30 game. Nobody watches basketball at 5:30 in the afternoon in the spring.

Oh, if that's true completely disregard my post.

You may still be correct. Just saw that it's only the conference finals that are relagated to each network. So the 1st and 2nd round may still be on either network.

East 1 vs 8 is always the first game on the Saturday afternoon.

We played the Pacers at 1pm last year

The year before that we played Cleveland as the 8th seed at 3pm.

2009 was Cavs vs Detroit at 2pm.

It goes on.

The earlier the better. I have to go to a wedding at 6pm Saturday.

Saturday
3PM: Knicks @ Bulls/Heat (ABC)
5:30PM: Sixers @ Bulls/Heat (TNT)
8PM: Magic @ Pacers (ESPN)
10:30PM: Mavs @ Thunder (ESPN)

Sunday
1PM: Celtics @ Hawks (ESPN)
3:30PM: Lakers against whomever (ABC)
7PM & 9:30PM: Jazz @ Spurs (TNT) & Clippers/Grizzlies (TNT) --- this depends on who gets home court in the Grizzlies/Clippers series. If LAC, they get the 9:30PM slot, if Grizzlies win, they get the 7PM slot.

I can guarantee the Sixers/Bulls would be the on at 8 pm. And it is sickening that the Lakers get the 3:30 slot all the time on Sunday. They should start NFL at the same time, so that no one watches the NBA game for them.

Damn, I have to go to one at 2 pm and be out all day, this is why I was hoping for Sunday.

Last year, the first Saturday playoff game was a noon Central start. It was actually the Bulls-Pacers. Thus, my best guess for start times is:

12:00: Magic at Pacers (least appealing)
2:30: Knicks at Bulls/Heat (most appealing)
5:00: 76ers at Bulls/Heat
7:30: Nuggets/Mavs at Thunder

Weddings are such a pain in the butt. It sucked when I was younger & everyone and their brother was getting married & you had to waste your weekends on that stuff.

Now I'm older and all I have to deal with is "dude, I'm getting divorced". You buy the guy a beer and it's over.
Plus you can do that AND watch sports. Easy peasy.

The TNT games are less appealing. If you are at a restaurant you will most likely have ESPN showing than TNT.

I can guarantee you that the Magic/Pacers game will be the one at 5:00 PM on TNT while the Bulls will get the 8:00 game on ESPN like we did last Sat vs Mavs.

NBA source says Knicks will start Saturday no matter who they play - Miami gets prime game 3:30 Saturday, Bulls the 1 o'clock start.
