I'm a grown man also, and I was close to crying when I saw the look on the faces of his teammates when it happened. I grew up watching Jordan play and have seen many injuries in basketball over the years. But this one just seemed to hurt more because of when it happened, and the seriousness of the injury. The first playoff game and then no more of your star point guard for the season is going to make anyone depressed. Plus, he is such a great kid and has such a good heart. I always look forward to watching this amazing young man play. You just never know when he is going to do something utterly breath taking. I am still hurt, but I realize that life can be cruel and this is one of those times to stay strong.

Luckily I'm still getting erections, though they're not as long-lasting as they used to be.

Girlfriend knows something's up, but I just can't come around and tell her that it has to do with sports.

I crashed my car yesterday trying to jump out of it while passing on a bridge.

I'm still behind the wheel.

I deal with clinical depression as is so I was very much sad over the weekend.

I've been a Bulls fans since I was 6 and stuck with them even through the dark times like the rest of you, but I have also been a fan of Rose since he was a Jr in high school. Just all in all really upset that my favorite player and team took this kind of a hit.

But the more I read about people being able to make come backs with his kind of injury I feel less bummed and I know he will be back to his old self one day.

Btw I was at the game -- usually I am really good but when I saw it I knew and yelled Fuuuuuuu.... (you know the rest) super loud. You knew it was bad seeing it live but on the other side you have no idea what's going on unlike tv and radio.

I haven't watched the Nba since that game - I was petty grouchy that day which I don't think has ever happened to me before in sports. I'm usually good 5 mins after even the toughest losses.

But now recovery is over and actually optimistic.

Honestly, I'm at 100 percent acceptance. I'm listening to the radio again. I've been out in public. So on and so forth.

I'm not just at 80 percent acceptance, which is what all of those other things I listed entitle. I'm sooooo ready for Tuesday...That's how I know I'm at 100 percent. Wanna go back to kicking ass.

I just hope they make a run because watching Bulls games is my escape for all the real stuff I'm dealing with health wise. Same as this board, talking sports is my getaway from life. I may not post as much as I used to but I'm always on here reading everything.

So Bulls please continue to play

Everyone I talk to who brings it up I just automatically try to dismiss the conversation by saying that it is just a game, and I'm over it. It really feels like I got shot through the heart.

Honestly, I probably would have been insanely depressed if it wasn't for this board. It was good to know I wasn't the only guy over here ready to slit his wrist over Rose's injury. It definitely helped a ton.

I hope whatever health deals you're going through right now pass just as soon as this Rose injury.
