Sco, I had not thought of that. I have to admit, it certainly seems in the realm of possibility he would be a security blanket and once is back, good luck Teague sniffing the court (well good luck before too).

He is not too old and maybe he will be better with Thibs's sets. That's the catch. Hinrich was bad with Vinny's sets and but that shooting still sucks though. In hindsight, the baby Bulls didn't get bad enough to get a better pick in the famous 2003 draft and ended up with Hinrich

Wow, I beg of people from both sides to quit pretending people have forgotten anything.

The relevant and fair comparison now, as I understand it, is Kirk versus the world, no but seriously, Kirk instead of other option(s) at low cost. I don't think too many people want Kirk above the mini MLE and at that price I'd have to switch over to the "pass" side.

He's rumored to have interest, but we'll see, we've had several prolific posters who aren't prone to make things up, let us know that there is very little to no interest in Kirk.

Just to be clear on this: Bogans played like 18 minutes a game. Hinrich playing 15 would be "Bogansing" him.

It's not so much the minutes as it is the inefficient shooting, the declining defense and the never-solved problem of dribbling too much. It's sad, because I still like Kirk, but he's just not good anymore. I wouldn't even trust him to be a back-up.

I must be the only one who thinks Bogans was the best guy to start at the time. I can't envision Kurt starting once Rose is back, so long as Rip is healthy (and whatever backup 2 we start the season with, be it Brewer, Redd or whoever)

This has to be the best news for the Bulols yet the saddest news ever. $4M for Kurt? Don't they know he's crap?

Hell yes.... Milwaukee is depressing so I doubt Kirk signs with them. I'm one of the few Kirk supporters here.... Come home bro!

I hope Kirk signs with Mil so the Bulls can focus their attention to Lee and Bayless. Bayless can start or us while Derrick is out and be a spark off the bench when Derrick gets back. Having Bayless and Teague on the floor at the same time while Derrick is out can make us deadly-quick.

Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO
Bucks have also emerged as likely landing spot for guard Kirk Hinrich (Hawks). Nice veteran backup at both spots. Bucks could be fun.

just keep Watson. Its the best option now, since Bulls don't have money for Williams/Sessions/Brooks/Bayless

Since there is a new Hinrich Thread based on his agreement to join the Bulls, further discussion can be carried on in that thread.
