Bulls are showing serious interest in Dominic McGuire.

I'd be happier if we went with another 7 footer. But there just aren't many out there..
Why so serious?

McGuire wouldn't be bad if we can't get Thomas. They bring similar skills.

Tmac signing would mean that the Bulls know Deng is going to get surgery or that maybe they aren't 100% willing to bet on Jimmy?

I think Chicago's main goal right now is get another pg. My preference is Nate Robinson. I think he would bring a spark off the bench that will be needed this season.

Also, i have no doubt the Bulls signed Hinrich so that they can move him to the 2 once Derrick gets back. This works out great for them because they will try and trade rip at the deadline to get back under the tax.

Not really. They are thin at PG and SF.

T-Mac played the point in Detroit and actually started a few games at the point. I think he would suffice.

Wow, what great news. Given the fact that the Bulls only have 12 players under contract right now, it should be pretty clear that they are not "done" yet. Getting a wing, a big and some sort of 3rd string PG seems to be rather obvious targets. McGrady might be a better option than Hinrich, and McGrady could possible play 3 spots, which would mean the Bulls could just look for another forward, which would be Malcolm Thomas. Well, Tolliver would be a better option for that spot.

Not really. They are thin at PG and SF.

So he would be back up pg? If Deng plays from the start then Butler will be his back up. Not many minutes left for tmac at sf if at all.

Let's erase the pain of the summer of '12 by finally winning the summer of '00.

McGrady seems like an attitude problem type guy. Even with teams giving him a chance, seems to clash with coaches. Not sure if it's a good fit

Good point. Things can get ugly if he starts getting DNPs.

Popular names right now are:

Roger Mason Jr, Tracy McGrady, CJ Miles, E'Twuan Moore, Mickeal Pietrus, Michael Redd, Malcolm Thomas

Sounds like they want Malcolm Thomas badly and another guard who can play PG/SG

I'll rather just wait until a more concrete source reports this rumor cuz I'm not sold on your sources.

No offense, since you can't really source anything other than say you work for espn.

Also, I highly doubt this because we have two needs that have yet to be met and tax doesn't fill either in another big and a backup pg. And bringin in another player would only push us farther into the tax.

This isn't gonna happen, not even close to happening. Just my thoughts.

If you don't believe him, just don't click on the thread and read what he has to say. Its really simple as that.

First of I am here to deliver any rumor I hear whether it happens or not is not up to me but to the team. I might have some rumors that haven't happen but I did tell everyone the rumor about Hinrich, Omer Asik not being match since the beginning (even though the media was saying the Bulls were going to match any offer), and a couple of other rumors. Second if you read the Beverley post I did an update on it regarding some new information I don't think you read the updated part, and finally I never said it was a DONE deal but I did say it was close but not done yet.

Here's the Beverley post I made -

by holv03 on Thu Jul 19, 2012 4:29 pm

I heard Bulls have been working this guy out and he will be signing with Chicago. I don't know much about Beverley but he was the Euro MVP.

UPDATE: It's not a done deal yet but is very close to being one. I heard the information from Matt and I had someone at ESPN confirm it. I have more updated news on this subject the Bulls aren't going to sign Beverley just yet but he will be in the Bulls training camp from what I've heard. I am hearing two stories at the moment so I don't want to come in and post that's a done deal because I am not that type of poster I am here to deliver any rumors I hear regarding the Bulls. I know everyone is anxious just like my self to see a move but don't expect anything big at the moment. The Bulls are just looking for players that are going to play for the MINIMUM.

CJ Miles is meeting with the Cavs soon. Doesn't look like he has much demand so we maybe able to get him on an one year.

Redd waiting on the Suns.

Pietrus wants more than the Vet Min

The Bulls are just looking for another combo guard to fill the roster and another big man which is looking like its going to be Malcom Thomas.

The Bulls want Thomas but I'm not sure they can get him. Other teams interested and they can outbid us. Thomas we're waiting on otherwise he'd already be signed by now.

Moore wants the Bulls but not sure if the Bulls truly want him.
