OT: Read Tribune Plus Articles w/o Login [How To]

I read a lot of bulls news from the tribune on my iphone. By far the easiest way to read an article for me is to open the link in safari and use the reader option at the top of the page where the URL is. Works every time.

my trick is to copy the headline of the article, paste onto Google and search, then click on the Google link. Works every time...

Since this week I'm getting the sign-in overlay for digitalplus articles again. Use chrome with the *www.tribdss.com/assets/* added to filters, but its no longer effective. Has anyone else seen this change? Is there another workaround?

Just hit the Esc key before the pop-up but after the article text loads.

Does that happen for you? For me, the pop-up appears before the text is fully loaded.

For me there's about a half sec or fraction in between.

Looks like they changed the directory structure of the ads.

Another way if you guys want to read it on your iPhone is to open it in safari while turning the private browsing on. Works like a charm.

EDIT: Also works on a desktop if you choose private browsing. Need to do it on safari though. No plugins or anything else needed.

Something seems to have changed for me. While hitting the escape-key used to work and still kind of works, I lose the ability to scroll down the page after hitting 'escape'. I've had to resort to doing a google search using the article's title, which retains the scroll down. Not a major hassle but certainly something different from a week or two ago.

For those of you who are using Pocket, after you open the article, you just save it to your Pocket with the button that comes with the Google Chrome extension. Then you can open your Pocket page on web or on mobile and read the article without any problems.
