Sometimes I forget that Pau is actually a Bull now.

He's looking really good. That last play with Marc though, wow. These guys just have an awesome feel for the game.

Yep I'm happy we have him.

Marc showed pg skills in that last play but, I like how Pau's running the floor in transition. Looking very good, I can see him and Joakim making similar plays together.

I don't forget and think for the next year or two is still a great #2 on a championship caliber team. Rose and Gasol is going to be flat out nasty.

Marc looks like he is in great contract year shape.
Why so serious?

The game vs Canada

Pau Gasol 20 pts 8 rebs
Marc Gasol 15 pts 8 rebs
Serge Ibaka 15 pts 7 rebs

Now if Pau is still the man for Spain
Shouldn't he be our starter this season? I ask, because I've seen alot of lineups here that have him off the bench. He's still one of the best bigs in the league, and in the last video, him catching that pass in transition & scoring, shows skills we haven't had here.

Legit #2 is a big call, but I struggle to disagree with you. He's looking really fluid for his age and his game is pretty timeless.

For as good as Boozer and Taj have been for us, they lack the real ability to play off of Noah in the way that Gasol can. The Spanish Gasol to Gasol combo is a glimpse of things to come for our future frontcourt I think.

You all know I always root for Spain, but I honestly think they take this tournament this summer.

Only one naturalized player is allowed per team and Ibaka has that spot locked. So no.

The main difference between Pau and Booz is height. Pau's game ages gracefully because he's so damn tall. I wouldn't be surprised by a 20 and 9 playoff average since Thibs will likely give him rest during the regular season.

Ah someone else who shares my view that Marc Gasol is the best center. For me, it's not even close, he's the total package.

Agree. Spain's bigs are better than the US and their guards are very good.

easily best Center in the NBA. Look at Memphis record with Gasol. Without Marc the Grizzlies are complete garbage.

The total package? Marc Gasol? He rebounds at an Eddy Curry rate almost. He is a very good defender and passer. He is basically Noah without rebounding ability. Sure he is a better scorer than Noah but not much better. Gasol is a pretty low volume and inefficient scorer for a center, like Noah. He just doesn't rebound the ball very well.

When you are putting up prime Luc Longley type scoring and rebounding you don't get to be called the best center in the league. That is still Dwight Howard by a lot.
