OT: Deng promo pics in Miami uniform

I realize there is a contingent here who could care less and is happy he's gone. I have to admit that I'm stoked regarding Fresh McBuckets, and for some of the other moves me made in the off season. I also got frustrated at times that he couldn't create for himself off the dribble, and realize that we have moved on, in terms of the organization, his career and even amoung many fans.

Yet I have to say that this is very weird and kind of unsettling to view. It wasn't that bad at all seeing him with Cleveland, but these.......

Yeah, Lu will always be loved here. But in a Heat uniform, hell no.

we boo him, right?

i mean Gordon got booed for leaving after he attempted to stay but his offer was pulled

Deng left because we didn't give his bobble heads out when he wanted and signed with our arch rivals of the past 4 years for the same amount he declined and threw jabs at in the media

Deng left why?

Last I checked he was traded last season. Regarding Gordon, pulling the offer isn't and never was the whole story.

Don't like seeing him in that Miami jersey, but he could fit quite well and Miami could surprise some people if Wade can find some semblance of health. Bosh, Wade, and Deng is nothing to sneeze at. If I'm Riley, I'm trying to get Mohawk Deng to show up at the start of the season.

I can't lie I wish Lu just took the damn money and stayed here. Sucks seeing him in a Heat jersey especially since what happened to him made me hate the Heat.

I hope the best for Deng, but hopefully one day he comes back and ends it all here.

Him joining the Heat is just plain wrong, and I hope the Heat have 0 success, but it has no effect on my regard for Luol - class act, great player and I hope we cheer him upon his return to the UC.

That said, he posted up a pic of him training with Mario Chalmers the other day and I felt sick. Ugh.

I love Lu, but heat fans are going to be so disappointed coming off 4 years of lebron at the 3 position.

I will be at the game Jan 25th, hopefully the Bulls give Lu a good tribute video.

Is Miami the only team that pursued interest in Deng? Cuz if not then Deng is holding in hard feelings.

Hornets, Suns Mavs, and Lakers also wanted Deng. Bulls I thought also said they weren't against getting Luol back, but then we got Nikola and Lakers didn't want to do a trade. Luol also said he wasn't against coming back here.

Do I care that he joined the Heat? Nah, I don't care that he joined a 5th seed team at best in a weak conference. "The Heatles" died with Lebron leaving town... this is a completely different thing, the threat is over and the wack ass fans have jumped shipped. He might as well have joined the Raptors... Honestly, this is a LOT better than him being on the Cavs still. That might have a little more sting to it this year and next.

Obviously, Luol had options and choose the best. Mavs and Suns are really solid no doubt, but being with a legitimate ECF contender is better than what he'd get in the West.
