That's pretty cool. We need to start getting some momentum into the off topic thread. We've got some cool dudes on this board with cool **** to share.

Other boards do it well.

As much as I love this place it can become unbearable to read when we are playing poorly. The negativity just snowballs.

AD doesn't have any accolades.. I put in "league leader in blocks" because I had nothing else to add. I did update his section though.

Yea I know I was just effing with you.

Does whiteside's pwnage of gasol mean he has to concede his spot on the all star team?

Can't wait for the Bulls to not play for an entire week.
Step 1: instead of "ass" say "buns." Like "kiss my buns" or "you're a buns-hole."

They could play it opposite a Full House marathon and I'd watch the same amount of it.

Jimmy Butler is Grantland's starting All-Star forward.

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nba-a ... onference/

Jimmy Butler — Chicago Bulls

Yeah, I’ve cheated and slotted Butler as a “frontcourt” player to shoehorn him into the starting lineup. The East brings a pile of big men putting up huge numbers that feel a hair misleading. Butler is a more deserving starter than all of them, and he defends enough “small forwards” — especially with Mike Dunleavy Jr. injured — to count as a frontcourt guy without much fudging. The NBA should just switch to a triple-category system of point guards, wings, and big men.

Some of Butler’s defensive numbers have dropped off, and it’s hard for stoppers to maintain hyperactive energy on defense when they have to carry a bigger scoring load. But his ability to guard the other team’s best wing player, regardless of size and skill set, is crucial for the integrity of Chicago’s defense. Butler is slumping on offense, but he’s been a foul-drawing machine who can do whatever Chicago asks. If Derrick Rose is rolling, Butler can slide into a secondary role, posting up, screening in the pick-and-roll, and flying off pin-downs for midrange jumpers.

If Rose is out or limited, Butler can pick up the slack as punishing off-the-bounce force; he’s drawn fouls on 24 percent of the pick-and-rolls he has finished, by far the league’s highest figure, per Synergy Sports. (He’s fourth in the same category for post-ups, an impressive feat for a wing player.)

Ha, CP3 got in. Outside of the flopping I like Paul's game, and really, statistically, he's having a better season than John Wall, who is starting.

That said, I can't help but feel there's more deserving players than CP3. I'm not sure about Lillard, but there's probably others I'm forgetting.

And of course, Cousins missing out is ridiculous. I think he should've gotten in over Duncan. Love me some Timmy but c'mon, it's getting as stupid as voting Kobe in every year at this point.

Jimmaaayyy!!!

Cousins/Lillard should be in the game.

Like the three Hawk picks.

Sad that D Rose isn't even making the snub list.

If Lillard hadn't had such an inefficient January, he may have made it. He was great through to December, but his TS% fell from 58.1% in Dec to 49.0% in Jan.

Paul is quietly having a really great season. With the emergence of Curry as the lead PG in the league, with also Westbrook, Wall & Lillard improving, the attention has moved away from Paul, as it has the Clippers a little bit as well.

17.7 PPG, 9.6 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.9 SPG, 47.4 FG%, 39.5 3P%, 58.6 TS%, 24.9 PER

His PER is 3rd amongst PGs in the league. I think he deserves his place. Of course i do. :)

All star break is going to suck for me if we don't win at least 3 out of these next 4 games (including the cavs game).

The all-star game skills contest kind of tells what is going on with the Bulls roster. There is no one who can participate in the dunk contest or the 3 pt contest....some of the problems the Bulls are having. Meanwhile, you have top options from top teams like Harden, Curry in 3pt contests which shows the advantage of their stars.

Aaron Brooks should have been in 3 point contest

Does anyone else find it suspicious that Jimmy is in the skills contest and the Chicago Legend and WNBA player are shooting with AD in the stupid shootout thing? I feel like both of those spots were meant for rose and then when rose didn't make the all star team he forfeited his spots. I mean, Jimmy is the only one who isn't a PG in the skills competition and he is not really known for his ball-handling or passing. I think someone is salty.

It could also just be that he wanted to go on vacation if hes not an All Star. Rehab and rest etc. WTF wants to be in cold ass snowland BKN if they dont have to be?
