It's about the same

Thanks for that.. he was great last season when Derrick was out. Couldn't have been more than 20 games because Jimmy missed a bunch while Derrick was out. But my point still stands refuting the fact that Jimmy was better without Derrick. He wasn't... he was still even better last season with him.

What were the numbers for Derrick + Jimmy last season? I don't think using the last 2 years is a good measure.....only last season is worth looking in to because Jimmy last year was massively better than the year before.

Edit: seems like Jimmy needs Derrick pretty badly for his 3 point shot.

Can you guys name 5 players (factoring in age, constract/status, health) that you'd rather have than Jimmy?

This is easy.

Lebron
Durant
Davis
Curry
Westbrook

There are others. Jimmy is damn good though.

No question they are better. My point is that Lebron and Durant can walk. Durant and Westbrook are health risks. I'm not saying I wouldn't take them, but it's not as clear to me factoring that in.

From the clips that I have seen...Butler is doing a much better job of of getting fouled while scoring. Last year all he could do was get fouled while missing his shots as he drove to the basket.

Sounds like Jimmy Butler been going to the passive aggressive dick school of leadership. all I know is with all his media blabber and sneak dissing on Rose, he better bring it this year. if he doesn't I will be on his ass. as a fellow of Chicago and graduate of the same high school class year, d rose is and always will be my dude (unless he raped that girl).

6 pts 2-10 FG, we get embarrassed by a hapless Nuggets team. Leadership.

Locked up by Gary Harris but he's gonna lead us somewhere?

Took the night off in a meaningless preseason game at 5200 feet...

According to him and Cowley, leaders don't do that. He wasn't coasting. He is simply not the guy he and some of you wish him to be. He is not a do-it-all every night superstar and no amount of chest-thumping is changing that.
