Disagree. Forman's future is tied to Hoiberg, not Wade or Rondo. I thought Forman would give Hoiberg a "training wheels" roster full of hungry wannabe players who when Hoiberg said "Jump," would in unison scream "How High?" The roster Forman has given Hoiberg has no training wheels. It's a big-boy roster with multiple alphas and at least one certifiable headcase. It tells me that Forman has decided to go all in with Hoiberg and doesn't feel the need for a safety net. Good for him, but color me surprised.

I'm not thrilled with this roster, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued...buckle up, kids.

There were posters here saying that Wade used the Bulls for leverage, and every time I asked them 'How?" there was always silence. In any case, I enjoyed the press conference and I'm excited for the upcoming season.

Wade killed the press conference. It is funny to watch him speak after years of Derrick stumbling and mumbling on the mic and Jimmy walking the line between confidence and arrogance.

Opt out of his 2nd year and sign him for 3/75mil. Walk him into retirement and the FAs will look at Chicago differently. Wade is one of the most respected vets in the league. It will completely change our reputation, and you know he will recruit for us.

That was exactly my first thought. Maybe also help elevate his game once more.

Another guy I'm hoping Wade rubs off onto is Denzel Valentine.

I'm a firm believer that some players are going to be great no matter what, and that others that have the skills turn into really good players because they are able to take advantage of learning from great players on their team. That's why I think a guy like Valentine could really turn into a good player learning from a future HOFer like Wade.

A lot of people didn't believe it but I feel like Wade now more or less confirmed it. The big three were coming to Chicago, then Clippers backed out of the Luol Deng trade and it was no longer possible. All went to MIami.

That would have been better than even that current team in GS. Rose wouldn't have won MVP, but he probably wouldn't have gotten injured either, because he wouldn't have had to push himself so hard through all those injuries with other capable players on the team.

I have a feeling that Wade has a plan up his sleeve in terms of free agency. I just got that feeling multiple times during the press conference when he was talking about next season and the future and his goals for the team which is living his dream of winning a championship in Chicago.
