Here is a thought

If your going to keep jimmy, how about adding some help to the roster to help jimmy?

Crazy right? That thought just came from left field.

Without fail.

I still don't understand the point of starting a new thread when we reach 100 pages. Stupid tradition starting back with the Amare trade talks.

I thought it was something about conserving space on the forums or something. I never seen any thread throughout all of this site that has gone far past 100.

I guess this is why some wanted to trade him. It's just not likely that we make trades this late in the season. We only rely on drafts and FA which is absolutely stupid. I'm not sure what to think if we don't do anything this deadline. Literally no excuse you can give when the team is this bad.

Interesting well then I guess my next guess is t makes it easier for someone if they want to sift through all of the pages. Not really sure.

Problem: our FO has no idea which direction they want. So we'll just keep trying to win while also developing our great young guys. It will be beautiful.

I guess Butler will stay. If he does, fine. But how about getting him some help then?

I was told we didn't have assets

Then I witness several moves get made for very Little assets. I know that we can sometimes over value our players but niko doug lopez taj 1st rd pick sac pic, expiring with rondo space go absorb players, should have netted us something good. Especially when players are getting moved for peanuts and top 25 protected picks.

Woj -- Bos NO TRACTION for PG or Butler -- chic IS more interested in getting back rotational players, chicago not in mindset to do complete rebuild but want to reshape team on the fly...BOS rather give up picks instead.....the BKN picks are available for any deal for both star players

WTF CHICAGO --- if you can get both picks, get both

Not buying it. All reports are that Chicago was getting offered rotation players but Ainge wasn't offering picks.

Now, I'm supposed to believe it's the opposite?

No but it would be if you guys had your way. The two of you sound like youngsters who haven't really ever experienced a rebuild. The draft has a horrible track record. Those high picks probably aren't going to do a dam thing other land you a basic NBA starter ala Tyson Chandler / Kirk Hinrich / Ben Gordon. The big successes we've had from a high draft pick are DRose, who had three good years before losing his game completely to injuries, Elton Brand who was a borderline all-star who never reached Jimmy status, and Loul Deng, another borderline all-star who didn't make enough of an impact. And for this supposedly great upside, you have to pay the price of the downside which is drafting a guy who will be out of the league soon ala Marcus Fizer / Eddy Curry / Tyrus Thomas. Pass.
