Doug fits with OKC. They need scoring and a guy who can shoot off the bench. His lack of defense won't matter there.

Actually its a great trade for Reinsdork. If Mcdermott and Taj go for that garbage its saves millions on this years payroll. He needs the money, it would be another penny pinching move.

What about that guy named Kanter? I guess you mean 3pt shooter.

No, this is totally different. Because Payne is a great shooter . . . . .

Bulls need a point guard, just not more bad ones.

Obvious? You need guys who can shoot too.

I'm down with trading Niko and Doug today. Totally in support.

But Payne can't shoot, and he's a god awful defender. So even by your half-correct-only standard, he's terrible. And Roberson is a free agent. And also can't shoot to save his life.

And I like Roberson. But this makes zero sense.

Payne is a prospect. He's younger than Doug as a rookie. I'd be shocked if he was in the rotation. But if we're going to be taking fliers, they might as well be PGs as we have no semblance of a long term plan there.

Robertson for Taj swap makes me think we might get some sweetener.

He can't shoot from range and had a .490 TS% last year too. And his assists are low volume with a shaky AST/TO ratio.

He can shoot the three, but he's not good at getting all the way to the basket. I'm not going to judge a rookie PG for not lighting the world on fire his first year. I like the kid and am not ready to bail on him as a guy I like

The multi-headed monster found the consensus on this one.

Look, I am trying to be positive. I hated the McDermott pick, I hated that we actually traded multiple firsts to acquire him and I don't think he is a good player. So for me, I don't truly care what the return for him was so long as he is gone.

If this ends up happening... just... wow...

You make the team worse this season - basically give up on it - and in return add a mid to late first that they can throw away on another Doug/Niko/Teague/Snell draft miss, and some more scrubs who can't shoot...

Not sure that Payne isn't Teague 2.0...

The only obvious thing is this front office has no clue what the **** its doing and the owner cares nothing about the fans.

I don't think OKC can give up a 1st until 2022 based on the 1st rounders they've traded over the next couple of years. Might need a 3rd team involved.

So why didn't we pull the trigger on Oakfor if we're willing to trade Taj and Dougie for this trash
