I always want the Bulls to win, tank or no tank. If they are on the court, I don't want a loss. But I won't be expecting that win. :wink:

That's a simplistic, meatheaded way of looking at this.

For one thing, Bulls fans should be embracing The Process now. Losses now equal wins in the future. This season, the one after, and likely the one after that are a write off. If we rebuild, we don't want to win, we want to get top picks.

As such, why denigrate fans who want something to cheer for in the meantime, or people who have a connection with Butler and Thibs? I don't think that makes anyone less of a Bulls fan, just a realistic one that understands that the product the team's putting out there now is not one to actively cheer towards victory.

I tend to follow team and not fall in love with players or coaches so Im always for the Bulls to win except when they need to tank

This is a tricky question!!! Next year I will be rooting, watching and enjoying the Dubs. On top of it, when I get to watch the Bulls (few times as I wont buy League pass in protest) I will obviously root for the players to develop BUT root for them to lose and even have the worst record in NBA history. Hopefully with that we land the first pick AND GaxPax get fired

Tickets are going to be nice and cheap on stubhub this year. Will probably go to 20 of the 41 home games. I live nearby the stadium, so it's a fun thing to do.

I expect them to win 6-7 of the 20 games I go to, but I'll root for them to win every game because A) I'm a Bulls fan, and B) wins will mean the young guys played well.

I don't see this team winning 25 games, but I'll root for a win every time.

Even Jerry Reinsdorf will be rooting for the TWolves. Isn't it more obvious the Bulls are playing for lottery balls. All they need to do is hire Sam Hinkie to give a pre-game speech.

I'll be rooting for the team I spent my whole life rooting for to lose the most games in the NBA. I will hardly watch a minute of their games all season. Maybe they'll be fun again by 2019. And I'll root for the Wolves to be an entertaining team to watch (I hope).

I dont know I had fun watching the 80's and 2000's rebuild, not sure why people want to skip rebuilds. I prided my Bullsfanship on following the Bulls through the tough times in the 80's when many other Chicagoans called them trash to winning the titles in the 90's. Its fun watching them develop and hoping lottery picks become the next superstar

I always proudly boast I watched that team from the early times to the finish, never gave up on them because not many saw them start to finish

If the team is tanking-- and everyone agrees on that-- with the strategy of losing games for the sake of future draft picks, one can certainly root for the team to lose and still be a fan. I'm in that category. If the poll had asked "will you be a Bulls fan or a Wolves fan," I'm guessing the results would look a lot different.

With all of that said, to follow up on Homo's post, my fandom is sort of in latency right now. I will hope that the future gets brighter, but it'll be hard for me to be engaged until GarPax are gone.

I hate the FO, the owner and to some extent maybe the coach but not the players. So I will always root for the Bulls then laugh at the mediocrity at the same time.

I'm rooting for the Bulls. I'm a Bulls fan first and foremost.

That being said, I'll also be rooting for the Wolves. I think they have a talented and intriguing team and I want to see them take that next step.

The Wolves for next year, only because the Bulls need to lose as many games as possible this season. I liked Jimmy when he was here, but I honestly don't give a damn about teams other than the Bulls. I've always followed teams, not players. My appreciation for players mostly ends when they stop being useful to my team.
