2024 NBA Draft - DA BULLS Edition Pick #11

This is the first time in a while where we can pick a meaningful selection.

Current position: #11

I'll admit, I haven't been following enough College and international ball to know who the hot names are.

But we have a lot of great posters here that can throw some names out there that maybe available at #11.

if Knecht is there at 11 I would likely take him.

Are you going for BPA or by need. We do need size.

BPA. He is a winning type player it seems like and has skills and toughness.

I also think his lack of defense is overstated.

Obviously I really don't know how Knecht will do at the next level, but he looks like an NBA player to me. Plus, the Bulls could use better shooting.

I agree that they should look for size, but take BPA. I mean...don't take a mediocre center just because he's a center.

A few posters have mentioned Tyler Smith (6'11" PF) and he's an interesting prospect, but I think #11 is too early to take him.

After some video rounds, Ja’Kobe Walter is my guy at #11. Potential playmaker, not scared to pull up and nail some crazy contested 3Ps. I think his low FG% will make him bit under the radar, but he has a very high FTA rate and a really nice 3P shot.

The nice thing , for better or worse, is that Coby and Ayo (and Caruso) have learned to play every position (even PF?). But I don’t see any issue playing these guys alongside each other. We need 3P makers, guys who can get to the rim and draw fouls and kick out, and he’d potentially take care of both.

Ja’Coby-Yo : now this might be a fun trio

I hope we snag Edey right in front of OKC.

He will probably go higher then he should because of how weak this draft is.

Knecht. Then see if any team is willing to trade their first for the Portland pick to save $$$, then draft a big.

Waiting for the measurements and what the league intend to do with Dink Pate. He reclassified up, committed two years to the Ignite, and now finds himself in limbo. He's an excellent prospect and just turned 18 last month. Adam Silver should give him a special circumstances waiver, and allow him into the 2024 draft.

I know almost nothing about this draft class, but the fact that ESPN has Risacher going first tells you all you need to know. That's just straight up ridiculous.

Watch the Bulls luck into a top 4 pick in this draft

Knowing AKME, it will be one of the taller versatile wings like Risacher, Saluan, or Cody Williams. They seem to fit that profile as raw kids with 2-way potential, much like Pat and Terry.

I wouldn't mind Ja'Kobe Walter though. Seems like he could give us a little breathing room for when the eventual Caruso injury happens. I just don't know how much he'll play behind Coby, Ayo, Caruso, and DDR (if he resigns).

Odds are there will be at lest 2 all star talents in this draft. Problem is depending on how this draft goes, you might be able to land that at 4 or 11. Its going to take really good scouting and that doesn't seem to be a Bulls strength.

In my opinion we all are being too harsh on AKME for draft picks.

Firstly no one gets it all right.

Secondly, he hasn't had many chances to draft. Everyone sort of picks on Patrick and Dalen, but no one ever wants to give credit for Ayo and to a lesser extend Julian Phillips. Like they forgot AKME drafted Ayo but deserves a ton of credit.

He does have to have his defining pick though. Gar has his problems building a team, but he had plenty of defining late picks that gave him equity of drafting well. Jimmy, Niko, Taj, Portis. All 22 and later in drafts.
