I don't remember Tyrus or Noah being in foul trouble, where were they? We are getting killed out there with 'bigs' like Deng, Noc and Thabo and our frontcourt is sitting on the bench watching.

Sometimes I wonder how much Del Negro even values defense.

Even if we got that Tom Thibaduex guy I doubt our defense would have been that much better.

No one on this team seems to have defensive instincts

I thought Vinny said it himself that we are nowhere were we need to be on interior defense so he is counteracting it with more offense.

Thats lingo for, well screw the D, lets outscore them.

But we arent scoring at a rate that will overcome such bad defense.

WE give up layups on one end and still take long jumpers on the other end, and we dont really run. Its like a half run. Its Rose sprinting out, then the rest follow, then they just run an offense.

Oh...and does Nocioni play ANY defense whatsoever??? Fouling people hard does not equal defense....will someone PLEASE tell him that!!!!

I think athletically he cant make up for other guys sometimes so he hacks and that has kinda been stuck in his head or something . Im honestly trying to make up excuses for the guy because his D is pretty lackluster .

I doubt being athletic have much to do with it. Hinrich isn't very athletic but back in the days he was awesome on defense.

Remember the play where McDyess did a spin movie on Nocioni and Noce couldn't even stop that? It stopped our 9-0 run and really ended things. I mean McDyess, who's like 36 years old, does a ridiculously looking spin move and Nocioni just STOOD there.....if it was Tayshaun Prince then maybe it's ok but McDyess???

That's what bothers me about Noce....I remember a couple of years ago he played great defense. God I would love to have Wallace or Joe Smith back.

Also according to Stacey King, Tayshaun prince is 6'11"

That was a high point of the game.

I know Gooden is a terrible defender however he would have helped us in the scoring departement, especially is that horrendous first quarter.

Nope, just poor management and incompetence of the staff -- even more damming if you ask me.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Noah shoudl never, never, never start over Tyrus. Noah got completely owned by Wallace in the 1st 5 minutes, that put the Bulls in a whole the rest of the night.

I was muttering about Wallace pkcing this game to come out in one of his little zones, but Noah hardly contested his shots.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Official completely take Rose, Gordon and Noc (who was playing well) out of the game while letting Detroit maul Rose and Gordon all night long.

I think Noc earned most of his fouls.

Tyrus did a fantastic job on Sheed. I believe the only points Rasheed scored on him was that offensive foul that the refs didnt call. And even then it was an extremely difficult hook shot that Rasheed had to do.

That should be points to Note for Vinny, the next time we play the Pistons.

He had to play too many minutes without strong offensive players around him, and that hurts him a lot.

Curry is too much of a pussy to put either AI or Rip on the bench even though our small ball lineup is getting abused on the boards. Amir should be starting and getting 20 minutes per game. He has been our best rebounder/shot blocker/hustle player. I haven't a clue what goes through Curry's head to now have Amir getting DNP-CDs.
