Game 1 Pitching Matchup:

Arroyo (3-4, 4.11)

"I feel like every time we've gone there the last few years, it was a different place to play," said Reds right-hander Bronson Arroyo, who starts on Monday. "The crowd is about as intense as it gets and they've had a good ballclub. It's been a tough place to play."

Hamels (5-2, 2.92)

The last time Phillies southpaw Cole Hamels faced the Reds, it was a forgettable experience for Cincinnati. Hamels threw a five-hit shutout against the Reds in Game 3 of the NLDS to sweep the series.

Hamels boasts a sterling 6-0 mark with a 1.07 ERA in his career against Cincinnati, striking out 42 hitters in 50 2/3 innings pitched.

Chase Utley will be in the lineup for the first time this season. It figures it would happen against the Reds  The Reds are on a 5 game losing streak and have been swept in the last two series that they have played (Pirates and Indians).

Votto and Bruce both went yard yesterday against the Indians in a 12-4 loss, it was the 6th round bagger of the year for Votto and number 11 for Bruce. Hopefully, it carries over to the game tonight. The Reds need to get back on the winning side of things or they could find themselves heading south in the standings real quick because they play 4 against these guys before heading to Atlanta for a 3 game series.

I stopped watching this game after the 3rd inning. Bronson had nothing and was throwing batting practice to the Phillies, he gave up 7 runs in the 3rd inning. Bruce hit a 3 run shot, which accounted for all of the Reds runs in the game, it was his 12th round bagger of the year.

6 straight losses and counting, hopefully they turn it around tonight.

Game 2 Pitchers:

I didn't think that the 3rd game in this 4 game series was ever going to end. Cincy deserved to lose and they eventually did  They took the lead in the 10th off of another Bruce HR, he is in a groove at the plate, but Cordero blew the save by giving up a blast to Howard on the first pitch in the bottom half of the 10th to tie the game up. Later, Phillips got a brain fart and got picked off of 2nd base, it turns out that he would have probably been walked home. Mental mistake after mistake happened after that, and eventually Fisher (he pitched a great game) ran out of gas and the Phillies got the win in the bottom of the 19th inning.
