interest in Johan?

Seems like the Reds have the pieces to get Santana, and a #1 starter w Harang, Arroyo, and Bailey, and Cordero added to the pen, gives CIN the division hands down. The lineup is pretty solid around Dunn, Philips, etc.
A pkg around Hamilton and prospect pitchers, maybe ss Kalish?
Reds have 2 strong CF prospects in minors and could spare Hami for an Ace, and they have great minors pitching depth as well. Get Johan!

Sounds like a plan until contract time comes up. He wants around 120 mil, don't know how we're going to pay him 20 mil a year with Dunn, Griffey, and Cordero.

Hamilton was traded to the Rangers for a couple of pitching prospects. One of the pitchers is supposed to be a talent similar to Homer Bailey. I personally didn't like the move, but maybe it will make some room for Bruce on the opening day roster.

Isn't IFFY playing for a contract this season? Also, I thought that we only picked up the one year 13 mil option on 3strikes and dunn.
