Homestand until the All-Star Break

Post#1 » by MHZ » Sat Jul 4, 2009 8:18 am

Love to see the Rox continue their run up until the All-Star break. Started it off with a nice win against Arizona tonight, 5-0. Follow Arizona with Washington and Atlanta, and hopefully the Rox can't put themselves in a nice position going into the second half of the season.

It'll be interesting to see what they do at the trade deadline as well. Garrett Atkins has been a popular name in trade discussions. I do wonder if they'll look to add to their team for a postseason push, or if they're only interested in cutting some costs.

Jason Marquis now leads the majors in wins with 11 after a brilliant 1-0 win against the Nats last night. Rockies follow it up with a nice win tonight.
