Bro, you're way of. He's one of the best young pitches in the business. Period.

Who is the first? Don't tell me Ricky Nolasco...

He had a bad start to the season, he'll bounce back. He is by far the guy I trust the most on our staff, and imo the 3rd best pitcher in Marlins history (Kevin Brown #1, Josh Beckett #2).

So, we're going to base our decisions on his 1st 2 outings of the season?

Boy, is this going to be one LONG season.

this sentiment was partially an attention grabber to see if i could get anyone to pay attention to this forum...

but on the real, look at this games the last 2 years..the marlins protect him like no other pitcher..

2-0 in the first 2 series.. !!

But look at his ERA the last 2 years (well his last 2 healthy years), its in the low 3's. The only thing I think he really has left to do to really be a complete pitcher is bring his walks down a little, but other than that, he is dominant. Fastball at 95 with nice movement (can get it up to 98), good cutter, good slider, occasional changeup.

And yeah good start to the season, although the defense and bullpen looks as terrible as last year.

Its a shame that Gaby and Maybin have been letdowns defensively, I thought that was supposed to be one of their strengths in the minors.
