Houston Astros 2015 Game Thread

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Wed Apr 8, 2015 3:50 pm

I don't want to get too excited, but as of right now the Astros are on pace to win 162 games this season!

Game Two is tonight versus the Cleveland Indians at 7:10 at the Juice Box.

Pitching matchup is Feldman vs. Carrasco.

Dallas was outstanding in the first game, which feels weird to say because usually anything Dallas related is evil and unworthy of recognition.

I doubt Feldman will duplicate such a performance so hopefully the bats show up tonight and score a ton of runs.

It will be weird using "Dallas" in a positive connotation.

Thatcher to Carter...what the hell was that? Should have easily ended the inning and left it a 2-1 game, now we're down 5-1. Nicely done!

Gattis is now 0-16 with 10 K's to start the season. Impressive.

Pretty great pitching duel going on here tonight, but the Astros need to capitalize on getting such a great start from Keuchel. Only 1 hit from the offense so far through 5 innings and that was an infield hit that Altuve beat out because of his speed.

Come on now, score some damn runs!

:(

Awesome win today! The kind of game I would usually have expected a loss in recent years.

7-1 in their last 8 games, yawn...

Well, hopefully our other beloved Houston team can also come away with a sweep tonight ;)
