I hope for Cavs fans sake that this is true, but I just don't see it. Barnes so far is looking like he'll at least be a quality starting SF in this league, if Waiters is gonna be 5x that you must be projecting him as a superstar. And if that's the case, I must ask, what exactly are you basing that on?

I hope so too

That was not good. I expect a long year with no free agents coming to c-town for any time soon. Thanks again Ladouchebag.

Can anyone tell me how Zeller did? I saw that he had 14pts but am interested in how they were scored. Was it just easy put backs? Did he make a few jumpers? How was his post game?

Zeller's mid range game looked pure. He has a nice stroke but the dude needs to bulk up. He got pushed around a bit. Otherwise I have no complains on his 1st outing.

He had a nice dunk he got up... He also runs the floor very well and had a nice layup in transistion from waiters. He also had some jumpers and showed a very nice low post move that got called off for hooking him. But when they showed the replay me and both commentators disagreed(it was an awful call) but I think if he bulks up he can start at the 4 and play a little 5. Thompson had trouble scoring all night it doesn't look like he improved much

He did get pushed around a little, but his shot looks nice. He looked mobile in both half and full court. He should be good in pick and roll and pick and pop situations based on what he showed last night, but he didnt set any real solid picks. That should be worked out in training camp though.
What looked bad last night was that without Kyrie there is no real pg out there and it showed when the Cats upped the pressure. Waiters made a couple nice moves but didnt really look comfortable. He may have been pressing, but he did hit one long jumper with the clock almost out. Its just summer league, but the guy is still going to be under the microscope. I wonder if having Kyrie there healthy would have help ease the scrutiny he is going to be under.

I understand the spacing is horrible, but dion needs to show off what he can do. :-?

^^^ I don't care what his measured height is. the guy looks short and pudgy compared to the other guys he is playing with right now. just by eyeing it, he can't be much taller than kyrie if he is even taller at all.

I guess so *Shrugs*
Anyways i defended dion for long time even when he was attending syracuse. But he's not playing good at all against the D-League, and that doesn't bold well with being the number 4 pick.

I really want to buy into Chris Grant FO, but I just can't these reach picks at #4 the past two seasons have been mind boggling. even TT played like garbage yesterday. this is a 2nd year player and a top 5 pick last season, he should be dominating dleague/scrub level players out there, instead he looks like a little kid out there.

Yea same here, But I'm willing to give grant more time. Tristan came in as a defensive minded PF that had raw offensive skills, so im willing to give it more time. Dion isn't a bad player, he is just too damn passive. Also zeller imo is a steal at 17

I also love all these homers that just nod in agreement with every single pick the Cavs make. you guys know you are allowed to disagree with front office moves and still be a fan at the same time, right?
