Playing good for like 7 straight games does not a career make. Remember the Kwame Brown streak that one season?

10 games....
Nope I do not remember Kwame so called streak
But seriously I hope he can continue playing like this for the rest of the year. It's impressive how much better he looks though without Andy.

He tries to face up and take his man around the hoop only to misplay the ball on the rim. His uncoordinated body control reminds me of the body control issues Andrew Bynum had early on his career. I need to see some progress on coordination soon or else he's just going to be bench potential the rest of his career.

Awesome post.

I would have to disagree to a point. I think his body control has improved somewhat. He was truly a bull in china shop last year. I think he has improved on that. Still ways to go though

Not counting tonight, over the previous 12 games, Tristan has averaged 33.9 mpg, 12.8 ppg (53.1% FG's, 71.7% FT's), 11.4 rpg, 1.1 apg, 1.0 bpg.

Don't understand this deal with the "panic button", he's having a solid sophomore season. All he needs is a guy who could compliment him better than Varejao.

It looks like Zeller is a good compliment to Thompson.

Seems to me like he is growing into his role. Let the guy develop.

He's playing like the second best player from the top ten now.

I have to say, a few of the Miami fans aren't all bad since they are the only other guys defending TT and sometimes Waiters. They still comment negatively on LeBron's Cavs teammates, but no one is perfect.

I think the biggest problem of the Cleveland FO is that Andy and TT aren't exactly great fits together. They have similar games, with AV's advantage being more experience and a jump shot.

I don't think that the Cavs planned to keep Anderson, but yeah, there are way too similar to be played together.

I feel like if Cleveland had a legit glue guy SF, they would really come together when healthy.

Irving
Waiters
Deng/Batum/Gay/Iguodala (maybe)... in that order for instance
Thompson
Varejao

At least two shooters two creators, nice balance, also potential for above average team defense.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

And i agree, it felt like they were about to cash in on a decent decent deal in teh near future. Very mobile defender that is an above average rebounder, can effectively switch on the pick and roll, and somehow developed a jump to go along with it. I also feel like it was only a matter of time until we saw Thompson producing. People like to knock the pick, but we are starting to see why the kid was taken 4th overall. Tristan has played 100 games in the league, he is 21 years old, and he is already basically putting up a double double.

Would you deal TT for Faried if you had the chance?
