Getting so tired of the Bulls being overrated on these boards. The Bulls remind me of the Arenas Wizards. Every year people kept talking them up and saying now that Arenas is finally healthy, the Wizards were going to take the conference. Same exact situation with the Bulls and Rose right now, everyone has been over ratting them since they picked up Boozer in 2010. I fail to see how they have any shot of beating the Cavs when you consider a much better version of the Bulls in 2011 with a healthy 100% Rose and better supporting cast than now (Korver and Asik were on that team) got smashed in 5 games by a Miami team, and I think this Cavs team will AT LEAST be on par with that 1st year Miami team that crushed them.

Guess mozgov would like to join the cavs

Says he doesn't want to join a contender and just ride the coattails and he doesn't want to be a burden

Atlanta Hawks owner selling kinda sucks, if the team ends up in Seattle.

That would mean either Memphis or Pelicans end up in the east, neither team I want to play in the playoffs.

Won't happen but it'd be good for the league to strengthen the east

And there is a Cleveland link in Africangate: That's right, it is most likely Chris Grant who originally uttered the controversial remarks that Ferry read, verbatim over a conference call.

Per Woj:

Everyone wants to know: In the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's published scouting report on Deng, who was the redacted Cleveland source responsible for the initial African slurs? If this wasn't Chris Grant – the deposed Cleveland GM who replaced Ferry with the Cavaliers – it will be difficult for him to convince people otherwise. And that's a brutally vulnerable position for Ferry to have left him.

It's unfair to Grant and former Cavs coach Mike Brown, another close friend of Ferry's. The report says the interview took place on June 6, 2014 – months after each was let go in Cleveland.

Who else would know that Herb Rudoy, one of Deng's agents, wanted $12 million a year? Who else could speak with such authority about the trade negotiations with Chicago, about the rest of the teams interested in Deng at the deadline, about how the redacted coaches felt about Deng's performance in the final line of the report? All those things point to Grant, but that doesn't mean it's him. That doesn't mean the redacted use of "the former" fill-in-the-blank official was legitimate.

Now I don't feel bad that he was canned.

damn if it came from Grant then wow.

to me Grant always seemed like a really smart dude, sometimes outsmarting himself (Bennett), but literally every other time making the right intelligent move & not letting media affect him.

& every trade he's done for us has been a rape, without Grant we're not in position we are today.

his mistakes were Bennett & Jack, that's all.

No idea either & it ended up being costly to get rid of him.
