Game 45: Cavs vs. OKC Thunder 3:30 EST, ABC

Post#1 » by King Stannis » Sun Jan 25, 2015 3:54 am

In what could be a NBA Finals preview, the streaking Cavaliers host Kevin Durant and the formidable Oklahoma City Thunder. The Cavaliers have won five straight, including a historic blow-out win over a hot Charlotte Hornets team Friday night. Dion Waiters will be returning to Cleveland for the first time since he was traded in a deal that ultimately netted the Cavs JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Timofey Mozgov.

Carried by ABC.

Keys to the Game:

1. Full measure of devotion.
2. Stingy defense.
3. Ball movement resulting in 25+ assists.
4. LeBron on God Mode.
5. Bench production.

Welcome back Dion:

AAYYYEEEE! AND ONE!

key to the game is how Kyrie defends Westbrook. Last time we faced off Kyrie was a matador. Lets see if someone else is given that job.

Westbrook is a tough match up for Kyrie because of his athleticism. But I seem to remember the Ca vs losing because of Durant

Great to have both Jr and Iman on defense. Good win

It did bug me a little when Dion and Westbrook were taking Kyrie off the dribble.

Starting to see the team and their roles being established.

Wonder if we will ever see a Dely, JR, Shump, Bron, and Moz lineup for all Dee with that on the floor we still have decent offense too

We are excellent on balance and really like what we do on offense but, don't get me wrong on the suggestion above.

I'm just curious on how strong the all Dee Lineup would be to shut down someone like Golden State, or Dallas, or Washington the teams that can hang with us on offense.

The key to the Cavs success has always been Lebron.

Not sure why people keep doubting us. A thunder site I was on was crazy. They were so sure they could attack our lack of defense. But guess they didn't know we were ranked 8th over the last 6 games smh
