Game 58: Cavs at Detroit Pistons 7:30 EST, NBALP FSO

The Cavaliers are 2-0 since returning from the All-Star Break and look to extend to 3-0 as they visit the Detroit Pistons. The Cavs were able to rest their starters for much of the second-half of their blow-out victory over the hapless New York Knicks. The Pistons continue to play well following the release of Josh Smith and are 6-4 in their last ten.

Carried by NBA League Pass and Fox Sports O-H-I-O.

Keys to the Game:

1. Keep the screws tight on defense.
2. Keep doing that thing they do on offense.
3. The torrid love affair with JR Smith continues.
4. Mozgov smashes things.
5. Kevin is efficient, Kyrie finishes at the rim and LeBron scores at will (and keeps the TOs to a minimum).

Notes:
The Cavaliers are no doubt the most fashionable team in the Association. Never before has a team had so many models. In the spirit of the shallow superficiality that is the Oscars, let us tell the tale of the NBA's sexiest team:

Here is a photo of GQ model and noted basketball player Kevin Love:

Dachsunds are the fashion accessory of choice for well groomed power forwards. Note how the well-fitted jacket hides Kevin's back-brace.

And the very dapper JR Smith:

What can one say? Sometimes Pimpin' is easy.

Timofey Mozgov is Russia's tallest sex symbol:

Due to international sanctions, Russia is suffering from a shortage of pants and an overstock of button-up shirts. The results are embarrassing, yet sexy (to Russians).

Cleveland is a blue collar city and the Cavs are a blue collar team. We don't need no stinkin models.

Dre vs Mozgov

Which matchups do you guys like/dislike? Detroit will be ready to rock after the Jackson acquisition

There size isn't an issue to the Cavs anymore. Cavs need to take this game and dominate the pistons. Svg got those guys playing very well but we still have the advantage of being the more talented team. Defend the 3pt line and don't give them confidence

I think one of the keys to the game will be to stop Jackson from penetrating on the pick and roll. the pistons' offense starts there and Jackson is really good at driving when he has space.

good luck tonight guys, I'm expecting a good game.

Love looked good. Moving better. Hitting those shots. He was key to the come back.

What a horrible job defensively in the first half but way to turn it around in the second half.

The Pistons have a good team but I had to listen to their feed and mute it because their announcers are so annoying.

Really good win. Bad first half but grinded it out, Pistons playing well too. Loves defense impressive again.

Nice second half. I used to think Drummonds or Monroe would be good pick ups before we had Mozgov. Man was I wrong. Those two guys do not play defense at all. Nice win. Nice small challenge. Liked Blatts matchup and rotations against a solid team.

Also I think we are starting to realize we have to step up on the defensive effort or we will loss.
