They have been a top 10 defense since the trade. That's good enough to win a title.

I think once Lebron exits chill mode come playoff time and returns to being one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, they'll be fine. But J.R. Smith definitely needs to stop being a turnstile on defense.

I don't think JR has been the issue on defense his effort has been higher than just about anyone on the defensive side of the ball. But the entire team tends to relax once they get a lead and they go into we can just outscore you mode.

Kyrie is the key to defense on our team. Point guards have too big of a role in the playoffs. I actually think we have more issues with good point guard teams then teams with good bigs. I can't wait to see Harden play against Paul or Parker in round two! Too bad Paul and Parker's first match up in way too late on Sunday night.
