I know there won't be but there has to be some actual conseqences for that. That's different than just missing a call or having an inconsistent strike zone.

The Home ump also started popping off and throwing F bombs like he was going to fight Pat Murphy. Dude is a jackass.

Dude must have said something, seemed like Uribe threw that punch out of nowhere

He probably said something but Uribe might be the only guy on the team crazy enough to immediately wind up a punch in that situation. I would not be looking to mess with him. He didn't even hesitate.

MLB and their umpire really want the Cubs to win our division. With the terrible calls the last three games, something is up.

100% agreed. That umpire was laughably out of line. What a wild game. Lost in it all was a good and much needed win.

This thought process is wild. I'm not normally someone who blames umps or refs for a lot, but to go from we didn't see anything there to throwing a pitcher out is insane to me

Uribe seems unstable. It was an attempted slap, not a punch, but it was still a foolish escalation IMO. He seems hyper-emotional when he's struggling a little on the mound as well. He's gotta calm the hell down.

LOL @ highlights on ESPN calling it a "brawl." It was just Uribe and Siri trying (and failing) to land a bunch of girlie slaps, with maybe one or two closed fists in there at some point.

Just a bizarre series of games with the umps. Don't recall ever seeing a run like this.

Agreed. That part was all on Uribe. Live it seemed like he clocked him with a right hook but after replays was a missed open handed slap. And don’t love Hoskins off an ACL having to jump, dive into ground, etc. Kinda foolish looking at it today. I would suspect he will get a little suspension and decent fine. I wouldn’t be opposed to giving him some time in AAA as he has been a little erratic the last few weeks.

Murphy suspended 2 games
Peralta suspended 5
Uribe suspended 6
Siri 3.

Murphy serving it today and Friday vs Cubs. Peralta and Uribe appealing

How in the blue **** did Peralta get five and Siri only get 3? Didn’t Siri throw a punch?

I cannot believe how bad the Crew is getting **** lately.

They tend to give SP 5 days so they miss a start.

Uribe deserves whatever he gets. Any kind of suspension that causes Freddy to miss a start is **** insanity.

They have to do this if they want to suspend starting pitchers.

If they suspend them for one game, they might as well not suspend them at all.

Basically they are pushing him one day back as a starter, which I guess is fair if they want to give him something minimal.

EDIT: I see MD beat me to it.
