Ariel Pena started strong before getting nailed in the forearm with a comebacker. Goes to the DL but only expected to miss one start.

I wish i could get excited by Pena or Hellweg, but the inability of either guy to consistently throw strikes is something that likely will doom both from ever becoming productive big league pitchers.

Both have enough stuff to profile as good relievers but I dont see either as a starter.

Nice. If nothing else it keeps him away from the damn cardinals who i had read were interested.

Is it correct that they don't test for weed in the majors (only the minors)? Because i was surprised to read that earlier today.
