They constantly mention Fiers' deceptive delivery. My dad and I were talking about it a couple weeks ago. We watched him behind home plate in August and what we noticed was the high over the top delivery. He's got a release point that's higher than most and everything is hammered downwards. That's tough.

Warren Spahn said hitting is timing and pitching is disrupting timing. Fiers is disrupting timing pretty well tonight. And he's pitching with guts. I hope the other starters are taking notes.
