Brinson batting .380/.365/.580 That has to be a typo right?

That's what's listed on MiLB's website. "It is possible for a player's on-base percentage to be lower than his batting average (H/AB). This is because sacrifice flies are counted for the purposes of OBP, but not batting average. For example, a player who has 2 hits in 6 at-bats plus a sacrifice fly has batting average of .333, but an OBP .286."

Phil Bickford also had a really nice bounce back start tonight.

Lewis Brinson reminds me of my players on MLB the show. 5 tool type, high BA and very few walks this year. Should we be concerned about the low walk rate this year? 371 AB 19 BB

Thats probably what he'll work on next season. He'll be asked to take more walks in AAA. However with the way he is hitting and never really going hitless he just make be one of those high contact rate guys.

Lopez goes tonight for Biloxi. Would be nice to see him have back to back solid starts.

Appreciate all the updates, wichmae. I mean I do care about when our pitching prospects are pitching and how everyone is doing down on the farm. But not enough to go searching for all of that info. Its nice that you have it all right here. And I also appreciate insight from someone who actually watches these guys play baseball.

No problem man. I grew up around baseball. My uncle was a regional scout for the White Sox so during summers I would go watch high school and college games with him. I thoroughly enjoy it.

And hits another one. 2 homer night. Also had a pretty insane diving catch.

Given the recent play in our minor league system, I can't help but hope for more losses at the major league level. Adding a top 5 slot to our current talent pool would be extremely special.

Thankfully this upcoming draft is crazy deep. Even if we land at 8 were going to get a player which in last draft would have a shot at 1.1

The issue would be the bonus pool. If we get a comp A pick that helps. It also would help to trade for a comp pick like ATL did to create more pool money.

Stupid BC not having any coverage for Bickfords start tonight. Our affiliation ordeal right now just really sucks as to where it used to be.
