I never really liked Murphy at 2B but he has shown signs that he can be a hitting machine I don't have a high value on Murphy however I wouldn't trade him for garbage depends what they'd be willing to negotiate I'm not taking that CF for him though and Flores I always liked as well he's been bounced around too SS 3B 2B so he has options which I like

well, we need to trade for a shortstop.

Alderson has acknowledged that trade scenarios exists. The Athletics could offer Jed Lowrie. The Rays could trade Yunel Escobar. The Diamondbacks have alot of young talent at that position.
