Mets Resign Cespedes!

Post#1 » by Stannis » Sat Jan 23, 2016 2:03 pm

Supposedly he turned down a 100 million offer from the Nats, so that's pretty cool.

Granderson, Juan, Cespedes, Conforto... that's a pretty competent outfield for a long season.

There's a Cespedes for the rest of us!!! Love it. The 1-year opt-out is a little bit shady, but we'll take it. If all goes well, it should be Mets-Cubs again. The Cubs look loaded stacked to the hilt, but I'm hoping the expectations are too much for them. That franchise is more cursed than we'll ever be.

This is great news! Should we trade Juan now?

very surprised and very happy.
We've got something we didn't have for alot of last year.
Unfortunately we lost Murphy, hopefully Wright can get right.

...With Pau likely opting out and Noah leaving, the Bulls have no center.
If there is a trade, it will be Lopez/Calderon for Rose.

This team is awesome on paper. Strengths everywhere and virtually no weakness anywhere. Let's start the season now!
