And he's pitched so many innings, there is a good chance his arm will turn to mush.

NYPost had an article about this; Rivera did it and of course wasn't fazed, but Yankees had another pitcher pitch this many innings, young guy who was good, the innings and # of 2 inning appearances, and within 2 years, he was done.

Forget his name, will try to find the link. Hope it isn't the case, because he HAS been brilliant.

He should show up in the Cy Young voting. Rivera did in his "rookie reliever" season and Rivera's stats actually wasn't as good as Betances this season.

Yep, Betances has been amazing this year. I'd still like D-Rob to stick around, but at least there's a ready option at closer if he's gone.
