I'd never heard about this guy until today, but from all reports I've read, he's a hack. Not to mention that Machi didn't do ANYTHING, and I have no idea what the hell he was calling with balls v. strikes with Bumgarner. How has this moron not been fired yet?

I didn't watch the entire game so I cant really comment on what you're saying, but Hernandez has been one of the worst umps in the league for a while.

I just signed up yesterday for the MLBtv package or whatever it's called, for my AppleTV, so I plan on watching just about every Giants and White Sox game for the rest of the year. Really excited about today's game. I didn't want to start a game thread, but I'm curious how you guys think we'll go?
