Fairly certain the series is over. KC has it going on.

yeah I agree. We struggle most against LH and Vargas is next, I imagine we'll lose like 2 to 1. We needed tonight and with Bum going game 5, I felt confident going back to KC with a 3-2 lead. Oh well. We made it here by other teams making mistakes and the Royals do not make mistakes, they're the 2012 Giants in a nutshell.

Also Bochy has been horrible all series. Not starting Morse in LF was a mistake. Giving up the run in the 1st for an out was a mistake. Putting Hudson out there for the 6th (AGAIN) was a mistake.

Yost made some pretty bizarre moves as well, but they didn't come back to hurt him. This has not been a well managed series.

Giants should schedule like it's going 7 and put Snot Rocket on the hill tomorrow.

He won the game by putting Cain in RF though. Both managers trusted their starter for too long and it costed them, but their bullpen is MUCH better than ours.

Their bullpen is better but not that much better.

The one guy who is dialed in is Davis, i do not think we can hit that guy but we have a chance against Herrera and Holland.

Giants played great but our offense hasnt stepped up, especially the top of the order where the Giants were 0-15. Against Guthrie, thats not a good sign. Also, where is Buster? Perez is outplaying him defensively and offensively.

Perez has played a lot of Catcher, and he has outplayed Buster.

Theres a chance for a burnout, but this is really disappointing.

Morse will come in at LF tomorrow. You guys are giving up easily, yeah we are down 2-1 and they have momentum, but it just takes 1 game.

Perez doesn't have the weight of the team on his shoulder, though. When Posey is struggling, it makes the rest of the team look that much worse. Perez can go 0 for 4 and the Royals can still win.

Basic notes from Bochy after the game: Vogelsong tomorrow, Bumgarner game 5. Juan Perez will start in LF tomorrow, not Mike Morse.

He's also a better defensive catcher than Posey which is why Buster needs to neutralize that matchup with his offense, which just isn't happening right now.

At some point the Giants need one of those guys in the middle of the order to step up consistently. This is presumably a long and tough series for the Giants but there is still hope.

Also, Baggarly reports that Giants coaches and officials are confient in Hudson in game 7 if it goes that far, reason for no Bumgarner tomorrrow.

Susac needs to get on the field. Belt struggles against LH, doesn't he? Start Susac at C and Posey at 1B.

Perez should be a late inning defensive replacement - the Gmen need to score runs soon because once it gets to the 7th their chances are limited. They need to score runs soon which is why i have a problem with Morse not starting. They need their best offense out there from the start especially with a lefty going tomorrow.

This doesn't surprise me, really. Bochy is pretty much the type to be set in his ways. I agree that Morse should play, he's been someone who has looked to be the biggest threat with the bat since he came back.
