Phillies @ Giants

Final series before the All-Star break.

Giants are in a big time skid, losing 8 out of the last 9. Phillies are 30 games under .500 and have the worst record in baseball.

Madison Bumgarner goes up against Cole Hamels in a meeting of past WS MVP's.

Giants take game 1, 15-2.

22 hits are the most in SF era. 3 different players(Panik, Duffy, and Maxwell) had 4 hits.

Needed the sweep to turn our losing streak around. Heston was superb.

Heston has been the Giants 2nd best starter by far. I know Bochy likes his veteran guys with Hudson coming back soon but no way in hell you take Heston out of the rotation.
