Brewers @ Giants

Giants win game 1, 4-2. Heston pitches well, Romo gets the save.

Half a game back of first place!

Seven strong from Heston. Giants back on the right track. And to think we were down 6 games like two weeks ago...

Cain doubts back in my head, seemed to make plenty of mistake pitches today.

Pence the god coming through once again. Really good base running from the NL rookie of the year too.

LA up 1-0 in the 3rd.

Cole Hamels to the Texas Rangers. Rangers gave up 4 of their top 15 prospects plus major league starter Matt Harrison.

So that makes 14-3 over last 17.

How'd that happen? I'm going with:

  • 50% soft schedule
  • 50% getting some of our wounded back

The upcoming schedule is going to be murder though. We needed that 14-3.
