THJ goes to the bench and we go on a quick 8-0 run.

Maxi is hitting that corner 3 that PJ keeps missing. If this continues we gonna have to disguise him on offense on that shot.

Big athletic lineups always work best for Mavs because they can also help Doncic on defense, it's easier. Also Kidd not forcing his Maxi at 5 routine instead of going with him on 4 and one additional big guy worked great aswell.

Kings just lost to WAS. This our chance to move up in the standings. Let's start with making our dang free throws please. Especially Luka.

Getting hard to defend PJ'S shooting. I like everything else he brings, but man, an almost unprotected pick for him, I wish he could hit something.

Thj and his derelict father should just go away

His defense has been solid. I think Jason Kidd has to get him out of that corner and hide him on offense some-what if he keeps struggling with that corner shot.

Did Kidd idolize Tim Hardaway Sr or are they friends? that seems to be the only logical explanation on why thj sees the floor.

Even if i wanted to defend THJ with everything possible, i would simply say i have nothing at this point

Luka, Kyrie, THJ lineup makes no sense. Just send in DJJ for some extra defense and athleticism, or even Hardy. Instead DJJ played 9 mins and Hardy played 6 mins to THJ's 14. I'm scared how idiotic his lineups will be when the real deal starts in the playoffs.

People are too hard on certain players. Including Maxi and THJ. They have their merits and many times this year THJ stepped up and carried us to wins (along with Kyrie) when Luka was out. THJ role changed somewhat when we added new pieces and I felt his rhythm on offense may have been affected. I think we have to find creative ways to use him. If we bring him in the game for DJJ - I would move him into that corner that PJ occupies (and struggles to hit that 3) and I would turn PJ into the screener. The coach just has to try different things to get certain guys going and to help the team.

Glad we secure this W. Hopefully we can win in Utah as well.

Those two games against the Kings, we have no chance.

As long as we hold on we'll be in 6th place at the end of the night, and then one more with the Jazz and two against the Kings but all road games.

THJ is an extremely low IQ player who plays no defense and if his 3s are not falling, he's even more useless. And Maxi needs to keep taking open shots, that's the entire point. Him playing at 4 is the best for him because he can relax more and doesn't have to do everything centers and forwards have to.

Another lead is going down with both THJ and Maxi in the game as i write this. It's literally like clockwork, every single game.

Maxi is playing ok but now he's getting more minutes than Lively? We don't need Maxi at center anymore I don't care if people disagree. People brag about our success two years ago but you really think a rotation of bigs that were Maxi, Powell and Bertans were why we got there? It made us last in rebounding.

It looks like Luka didn't fall of a cliff, much to the disappointment of many in the general board after he went 6-27.

Having 2 real productive centers now after Powell feels so unreal.

The other home game vs. Jazz we blew them out 147-97.
But in their house they blew us out 127-90 (to be fair it was in January before Gafford/Washington trades and we were in a slump)
Looks like game 3 in our house goes to us
Game 4 in Utah we'll see

Powell is the best cheerleader in the league. We should be so proud.
