Mayo should have been at the line.

That is all I'm gonna say about the refs in the 2nd half.

hard playing a 5 VS 8 game. Clearly Price was still moving his feet when he went under mayo. Lucky 3 by batum and aldridge too zzzzz

Yes the officiating was questionable, but that's no excuse for the breakdown we had in the 3rd quarter.

Trade Dirk, VC, and Marion to a contender. They played their hearts out...

maybe it was a block maybe it was a charge. we know what the official thought

Batum's 3 wasn't luck, he makes shots like that all the time. Aldridge's 3 was luck, but then, so was Collison's

Actually, Collison has made a lot of those kinds of 3s haha

I honestly think that wasn't a charge, but I'm not going to blame the game on that bad call since we shouldn't have been in a position where that mattered if we hadn't broke down earlier.

Collison's shot was the luckiest of them all considering where it was shot and how it went in.

Oh, and I live in the DFW area so I get the Mavs games. :D

I would like it if we played consistent throughout the game but it seems like we have all these games where we start strong and have these nail-biters in the 4th.

Still, that call on Mayo was complete BS.
Dahntay did the exact same thing in this game and was called for a blocking foul.
This game shouldn't have been this close to begin with but that call pretty much sealed this game.

First of all. Fail?

And second of all, what the hell are you trying to prove? You spent a few solid minutes to compile every quote from a game thread from the Mavericks board to show what exactly? That the Mavericks realgm posters are just like any other fan base? What kind of posts were you expecting? Have you done this when the Blazers beat the Lakers/Knicks/Raptors?

Troll back to the Blazers hole, that you crawled out of. Glad you don't mind displaying your abysmal intelligence by collecting quotes all over the board without even understanding some of them and then re-posting them to us

You know, I was watching the game and when the score was something like 72-61 or something like that I was like "I bet they get even at 88 at some point in time".

And then after 15 minutes or so they got even at 88. I mean what are the odds? It was crazy.

Heart breaking loss.

Is it bad that when LA hit that 3 pointer to tie the game I just knew the Mavs would lose. It seems everytime the Mavs hit a big shot to tie a game or take the lead that for any other team would mean a win, they end up having the opposing team hit a clutch shot right back. Once that LA 3 went in, I was not surprised at all his turnaround long 2 was gonna win it for the Blazers.

Dirk is so fun to watch in the 4th quarter on offense.
Mavs don't need early season OJ really. They just need the recent consistent OJ who doesn't try to much & turnover the ball. I hope OJ realizes this soon, perhaps it is already too late in the season...
Holy Cow Jae is sometimes a not very bright player. I used to think DC was the dumbest BBALL IQ guy on the team, but Jae coming out swinging looking for that title. For a guy who played like a minute he really made a boneheaded foul.
Vince was bad. He's been so solid lately, but he was a no impact player this game. It seemed anytime he was on the floor the Blazers would make runs. He just can't be a spectator. That being said, he made some brilliant PnR passes to the front of the rim for his bigs - too bad Mavs bigs have stone hands.

Seeing a guy like Hickson who has marginal talent but is athletic and just tries as the hardest on the court makes you appreciate that type of player. Dude dominated with his hustle. None of the Mavs bigs wanted any part of his energy. No fight.
That lil' mini-run by DC was fun to watch.

Wow, that is a surprise. Oh well, who knows if we woulda won anyway. Mayonnaise has proven time and time again that he'll miss at least 1 of the 2 free throws when the game is on the line.

They should replay those final 3.3 seconds like OJ suggested. The league has done it before. The next time we meet the Blazers they should replay that end then play the normal game. I know it's not gonna happen but this is what should happen in my mind.

Some people have said it was a 50-50 type call but it was clearly a blocking foul. It was obviously the wrong call at the time and the slow motion replay only confirmed our initial suspicions. Dahntay Jones was called for a blocking foul on essentially an identical play in the same game.

Replaying the final 3.3 seconds the next time we meet the Blazers? Now that's a weird way to conclude a game.
Personally I don't like it, and I do believe we would have won if it was a blocking foul, but it is what it is now. I'm actually shocked that the league would even admit they made a mistake, I would have expected them to just keep quiet on this matter.
