Thats a pretty favorable line. Dallas has got to be the bet of the night with that line.

Anyway, I feel confident about this game. Go mavs.

Nowitzki Wants a 'Little Smarter' Chandler

Dirk Nowitzki is keenly analytical about the Mavericks,
particularly when they lose. He has a flair for cutting through the rhetoric
and getting to the meat of the matter. So when it came to Tyson Chandler, he
didn’t hesitate to offer up his thoughts on how important the center is
after he was limited to just 15 minutes in Game 3 because of foul problems.

By now, you’ve probably heard his commentary on
Chandler, but if not, here it is.

“He’s got to be a little smarter,’’
Nowitzki said. “(He got) some tough fouls there, obviously, but on the
road, that’s what happens. We just have to overall be a little smarter.
He’s been a factor for us all year long with his length and athleticism
in the paint. We would certainly like to have our starting center in there for
more than 15 minutes.’’

Nowitzki went out of his way to praise the in-relief efforts
of Brendan Haywood, who played solidly even though his free throws continue to
provide equal portions of comedy and drama.

What’s more important about this is that Nowitzki is
comfortable letting teammates know that they have to be better in certain
areas. And by the way, Nowitzki is the first in the room to nag on
himself, too.

His point this time was clear: Chandler needs to play more
minutes.

If there’s a bright spot, at least he should be
ultra-fresh on Saturday.

I have a feeling DIRK is going to explode for a monster playoff performance tonight.

Has anyone noticed how many offensive fouls Chandler gets because of how dumb Kidd is? Kidd always, I mean ALWAYS starts taking off before Chandler has a chance to get the screen set. Dirk can talk about Chandler all he wants....he needs to be talking about Kidd and his M.I.A. in game 3. I mean, really...he gets 38 minutes and all he does is 8 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 turnovers? Terry had over twice as many assists and if Kidd puts up another stinker again, I will be on the Jason Terry at PG bandwagon. Terry, a healthy Roddy...even freaking Barea. Kidd kills us out there. When he and Haywood is out there at the same time it is like playing 5 on 3. Add Stevenson to the mix and it is 5 on 2 with those two being Dirk and Marion which given Marion's post season is more like 5 on 1.

No we don't.

It's not just Kidd, JJ and Roddy do the same thing. It really hurts Chandler.

I couldn't be more confident about a road playoff game against a good team really. I expect to win. The only iffy thing is the mavs have a sketchy record in day games. I hope Kidd has his legs.

Matrix busts out tonight. Dirk to beast mode.

I don't see Chandler getting any offensive fouls because of Barea, Roddy or Terry taking off too early. Just Kidd...and it happens way, way too often this season. It is as if Kidd is trying to get the jump on the defender because he is much slower than our other guards.

3 on 1 with Kidd and Dirk = 18 foot jumper. Lovely Dirk...just lovely.

Mavs need to go fight through screens. Miller is knocking down open jumpers.

That is why people consider the Mavs soft. Dirk should take it to the hole!

Not a good start for either team. I really hope the Mavs get a little more aggressive. Too many jump shots thus far.
