Must win tonight.

This team will either falter and get destroyed by the Blazers, or they will come out with passion and energy and might ignite a playoff run that may not end against the Lakers next round. We'll see.

As I said before, Dallas located the switch and turned it on for the first 2 games, but I have no confidence that they are good enough to do it for a full series. Sure enough that old crappy Mavs team reappeared in Portland like that one bad credit score that you cannot get rid of...

Dont give the ball 48FG% guy. And let Dirk 80shots for the win! 20FGA is not enough!!

Give the ball to the best catch and shooter in the history and let him post play more and more!

Problem is on Barea and Roy, as I keep posting here.
Its not coincidence. Barea plays badly against PO team through the season.
Check his Ast/TO rate. Youll be surprised.

That 27FG% TO prone should sit on the bench and let DS or Brewer guard on Roy.

I know this has been said before, but Dirk has got to demand the ball. He has got to become AI tonight and literally become a ball hog and take 23-25 shots for the team to win.

And if that means telling Jason Terry to shut the hell up then so be it. Wish he would. Don't know if Dirk is that type of guy though.

And its not about being a leader. Its about taking over and telling your team that your the 1st option.

Game 4 was obviously lost not because Carlisle called plays for Terry. It was because Dirk didn't take a dominant attitude. Terry did instead.

Dirk needs to put his butt in the low post and push Wallace or Batum around. IF he is doubled the pass better go to a cutter to the hoop.

I will always cheer for the mavs, as I have since the first game where I was in attendance. I am already skeptical, but will be even worse of a skeptic if they fail once again in POs. I am not a happy fan right now, and see the window shutting if a loss occurs tonight.

Bill Russell is the GOAT. 11 titles in 13 seasons. No star has a better winning percentage.

I agree with all of this but the problem with Dirk taking over games has always been that he can't take guys off the dribble. And when the 4 top offensive players can't create for themselves or others, it becomes a problem for the entire team.
I agree with you that Dirk should become more assertive at the end of games but I don't think he has the ability or personality to do it.
