It drives me nuts that Kaman and Dirk continue to share minutes on the court.
Again, I've said it before and I'm pretty sure Carlisle wants to draw a big defender away from the basket by setting Dirk up on the perimeter which give Kaman more room to operate in the low post but this is a bad defensive lineup.

This means that Dirk becomes a decoy ... a spot up shooter and Kaman is our #1 post offensive option.
I know Dirk and Kaman kind of occupy the same space - Dirk in the mid-post and Kaman in the low-post and you can say Dirk is still working himself back into game shape but I think we should let him get some touches in the post while he works into shape.

Fully agree, Matt Harpring (of all people) was going on about this as well. Both of them on the court together does not work at all. Not enough space for both of them to work and Dirk is finding himself camping on the perimeter more than usual. I'd rather us start Brand at C and Kaman coming off the bench as our offensive player (with Carter)

It's no coincidence that we've gone on a run with Brand in at C

Good to see Dirk swish a 3 and Brand playing well to where he is a factor instead of a liability.

lol@ Roddy has upgraded from Bricks to Air-Bricks. "Buckers" only ever turned up in that GSW game. One hit wonder.

The funny thing is that Brand and Dirk occupy the same space as well but play better together.

We closed out the 3rd quarter well with Dirk and Brand on the floor. I hope the coaching staff realize that.

Though Brand does step away a bit more where as Kaman tends to be all over the place (low post, then stepping out and shooting jumpers, ect ect). It's actually rare to see Brand using any low post move in truth.

Kaman didn't even contest that shot against Millsap. Sigh, we've been critical majority of the year on Collison (rightfully so) but jesus christ Kaman is pathetic.

Why do I get a sinking feeling that Mayo is going to make some key bad plays late in the 4th?
